The big dig delay: Shooting for an early August opening.

We thought a simple gray water system would meet the requirements, but not so. The new septic system build is a minor setback as we now work toward an early August opening.

We will be pouring at Eli Cannon’s 7th Annual Charity Beer Fest and the Powder Ridge Beer Fest. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. Cheers!

Fat Orange Cat Brew Company Merchandise.

We are waiting on a couple of key physical components before we can open, but having  some Fat Orange Cat stuff around is encouraging. We are still shooting for a mid-July opening. Cheers!

Look For The Paw.

Many thanks to incredibly talented designer/woodworker and passionate beer lover Thom Sawyer (owner of Chatham Housewrights chathamhousewrights@comcast.net) for this prototype handle being tested in our home taproom.

“I saw the paw at…”  Stayed tuned!

Mike talks jalapenos with our friend Alex DeFrancesco of DeFrancesco Farm and Four Brothers Till (he brews amazing beer – watch for this coming very soon).

We can’t thank Alex enough for our flowers-for-beer barter friendship as well.

Progress in the Brew Barn.

Yesterday was our first day of brewing in the barn. We still have a way to go: building faucet coolers, waiting on the brite tanks and the recycled pallet bar, and so much more to do before we open. But damn this still feels good. Cheers!
